Caticipation. I love it. My family only learned to appreciate cats (we are dog people) when we had a rodent problem 15 years ago. We went to the local animal shelter and found one cat who was known to be an avid mouser. That was the one. She did not disappoint. She even taught one of our dogs to hunt mice!

Loved this piece and your clever writing. We adopted our Lily about the same time and it's always an adventure. We, too, have had the Mouse in the House escapade. Very entertaining. I can relate.

Oh, I love your way with words. “Mouse in the house escapades.” Wish I’d thought of that phrase. Use it in your Lily story.
