This was so good Karen! I am 50 and I can definitely relate to quite a few of these! I couldn't stop laughing when you said you have to turn the radio down to find an address!Me too!!! 😂

Also, I still apply my eye bag cream as well! Wishful thinking! 😂

I love this, Karen! I'm a few years behind you, but still relate to more of your observations than I care to admit!

Thanks for reading and commenting. It means the world to me. I thought of another to add to this list. Nightlights! Oh, how helpful they are for seniors who tend to wake for potty break during the night.

These ruminations are GREAT, Karen, and so true! Life does change as we age, but there's still much joy. It's just stimulated by different circumstances than when we were young.

Even with the new challenges, I love this age. I’ve never been more comfortable to be my authentic self.

The actual milestone took place January 30, but it took me a bit of time to wrap my head around entering my eighth decade! Yes, all will be well.

I find myself in the same rather precarious boat. While I do value the additional time I have to go to Bible study, read, and write, I am wondering if pantyhose is absolutely required or if I can just wear longer skirts. I love the beach, but mumus may be my beach gear this year!

Congratulations Karen and Happy recent birthday! I just celebrated a landmark as well. I enjoyed your bite sized discoveries and thoughts, some of which (naps, funerals) I’ve been practicing since my 40s. Blessings to you!
